Programmes & Referrals
Programme Pathway
The Flowers for the Future programme is a nine-month journey (outlined below) designed to support survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking.
This programme prepares participants for future employment, education and training opportunities, whilst strengthening their sense of wellbeing, belonging and community. We begin by building confidence and creating a foundation of safety. From there, participants develop essential skills for both work and everyday life.
Throughout the programme, we support participants in preparing for employment, training, and the future - fostering restoration, empowerment, and hope.
Who is the programme for?
We welcome 15 women to our holistic employability and skills training programme every year and the 2026 programme will run from May to December 2026, dates to be confirmed.
The purpose of the programme is to help modern slavery survivors experience restoration and empowerment by developing their wellbeing, community and a range of practical skills.
The programme is designed for women who:
Are survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking
Are interested in creative work with flowers
Want to build confidence, skills, and future opportunities
Can commit to regular attendance and active participation
Referrals for 2026 will be open until Wednesday 25th March.
“Strength & Stem support women to regain their identity and understand the value they can bring. The unique element that Strength & Stem offer is an environment that is supportive and understanding, allowing survivors to lead the way. ”
